Out and About Projects is a queer creative group for projects of many sizes located in Kailua-Kona, Hawai'i.
Our Scope
Ranging from faucet replacement to room-sized remodel projects with skill sets encompassing construction, design, and fabrication of wood, metal, and textile based projects, Out and About Projects is a multi-talented group. Our focus encompasses clear communication, a consideration for materials- particularly local or found.

These works are primarily up-cycling and repainting carcasses while fabricating and installing custom butcher block counters out of Walnut and Cherry.
Bathroom
Focusing on keeping space open while addressing needs within the space, this bathroom keeps it simple and affordable.
Textiles
Textile work ranges from garment weight yardage, local wool rugs, and completely hand spun yarn, hand woven for home decor pieces.
